Dani Loewen began dancing at the age of 3. She grew up in NJ, training primarily at the Dance Academy of North Jersey. Here she studied under Mark Burrell, Tom Richardson, Jaclyn Walsh, Amber Perkins, Jason Luks and Joelle Cosentino. Dani’s passion led her to The University of the Arts under the Direction of Donna Faye Burchfield. While at UArts Dani performed works by Katie Swords Thurman, Jesse Zaritt, Sidra Bell, Roni Koresh, Wayne St. David, Teddy Tedholm and Netta Yerushalmy.
During her final semester she interned/apprenticed for Project Moshen Dance Company and joined At the Brink Dance Projects as a company member. She performed in Fertile Ground and DUMBO Dance Festival 2018 with At the Brink Dance Projects. Dani was the assistant choreographer for DanceXplosion National Finals 2018 in Lake George, NY and Wildwood, NJ. She performed in APAP 2019 and New Wave 2019 with JKing/Joyce King Dance Company. Dani absolutely loves sharing her passion for dance with all ages and styles.
She started teaching at PDS Summer 2021 and is so excited for her first season on faculty. Dani is training to perform for regional theaters and hopes to soon join the Actor’s Equity Association. She is excited to see what the future holds.
