Amanda graduated from Kean University's Robert Busch School of Design with a BA in Graphic Design.
Throughout the years, Amanda has thrived and succeeded creatively in the design world but always kept her passion for dance close to her heart. Starting out playing AAU basketball for many years in her youth, she transitioned into dance seriously in her freshman year of HS. She went on to be on the e-board of her college dance program and set the standard for future performers.
She has over eight years of teaching experience in styles including hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, jazz and most recently, heels. She lives in New Jersey and trains in New York City. She believes that continuing to be a student is the key to be a great teacher. She is currently the competition coach for R.O.I.C.'s Brooklyn team as well as a returning staff member at Camp Seneca Lake nine years running where she is the Head Choreographer and Co-Dance Director. She has made her mark in the industry as well as in the dance communities of New York and New Jersey. She has won multiple awards for her choreography and creativity in movement. She is elated to lead and inspire the next generation of dancers with Progressive Dance Studio.
