Ms. Perry has trained with some of New York’s best and brightest masters including Luigi, Bill Hastings, Tony Stevens, and the Paul Taylor and Martha Graham Schools. Ms. Perry has performed in several modern companies, including Principal Dancer with the Alaska Contemporary Company and the Center Dance Ensemble in Phoenix, Arizona.

She has toured extensively both nationally and internationally in Musical Theater and in Modern Companies, in such shows as WEST SIDE STORY, OKLAHOMA, THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM, PIPPIN, and FUNNY GIRL, to name a few. Ms. Perry’s teaching credits include Broadway Dance Center, Manhattan Dance Theater, and Studio Maestro in New York City, and the Conservatory of Dance in Anchorage, Alaska. She has also taught master workshops in Jazz and Tap throughout California.



Jennifer Segner

As a dancer, Jen began at the age of 3. She was a member of her studio competition team, as well as Captain of her high school dance team. Jen graduated in 2009 with a BFA degree in DANCE from Rutgers University (Mason Gross School of the Arts). During her college dance years she got the chance to work with many famous and renowned teachers and choreographers such as David Dorfman, Steven Petronio, Randy James, Reagan Woods, Juila Ritter, John Evans, and Paulette Sears. She has performed in New York at Dance New Amsterdam, as well as several other NYC venues. Jen also danced for several small modern dance companies and performance groups in New Jersey and Pennsylvania both during and after college. Currently, Jen teaches Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical & may other styles of dance to students ages 3-18. Teaching has always been her passion! Jen is also a trained Barre Fitness instructor, currently teaching at BodyBurn Barre in Tenafly.

As a manager, Jen has years of experience in customer service and business management. As a full time Dance Studio Manager, she couldn’t be more thrilled to combine her strength and passion (management and dance) into one job!

Amir Salahu-Din

Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Amir Salahu-Din began his journey in dance at the age of 12. He received his formal training from Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S., California Institute of the Arts, The Ailey School, Harlem School of the Arts, and took classes at various other studios in New York City. Amir is a New York City dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist. He’s performed with Nejla Yatkin’s NY2Dance Company, The Resonance Collective Performance Company(Fringe Festival, GreenSpace), appeared in music videos, worked as a dancer/choreographer for Carnival Cruise Lines, BET’s 106&Park(Wild Out Wednesday, Willow Smith), The Bethenny Show, The Today Show(Magic Mike, PSY), Jarred Grimes’ Broadway Underground, Arthur Ashe Kids Day, The Apollo, McDonalds Gospel Fest, ect. For the past four years he has taught hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical in dance studios throughout the city, Westchester County, New Jersey, and in New York City public schools. Amir enjoys creating and performing work that makes a statement and embodies raw emotion regardless of the style. He hopes to inspire and foster the passion for dance in all of his students.


Arleigh Rothenberg

Arleigh Rothenberg

Arleigh Rothenberg began dancing at the age of 7 and has experience in a multitude of dance genres. Currently, Arleigh tap dances at The Cotton Club weekly, as a member of Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards’ Sophisticated Ladies. She has also performed at the world famous Apollo Theatre in “Taste of Broadway” (2009 and 2010) as a member of the Young Hoofers, and performed in Derick K. Grant’s Imagine Tap! at Rodeph Sholom in NYC, February 2010.

Recent Television and Video Credits include the Malibu Rum “Funky Dip” Flashmob Commercial, choreographed by Tweetie, tap dancing on Sesame Street’s 2009/2010 40th Season, dancing in the STEP UP 3D Official Dance Dub Broadway Dance Center Video, (section choreographed by Michelle Dorrance), and appearing in the recently released films Step Up 3D (2010) and Eat, Pray, Love (2010).


Erin Mallon

Genres: Hip Hop, Jumps & Turns


Erin is a dancer/ choreographer/ instructor from New York City. Classically trained, she has a knack for incorporating different dance genres into her lyrical, jazz, and hip hop choreography. Erin has trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical,Contemporary and Hip Hop all over the U.S. making her a well renowned performer and teacher. She has performed for Nike, Adidas, Pepsi, R&B artist Lee Charm, MTV, Reggaetone artist Tyna Q, Bloch, Angel Feliciano’s “The Movement” and much more. She was a featured dancer in the promos for the hit TV show “Americas Best Dance Crew” with Randy Jackson as well as the Step Up 3D movie.  Erin has an extensive experience teaching children of all levels in Hip Hop, Contemporary and Jazz all throughout New York, New Jersey and Virginia.


Jessica DeLaCruz

Jessica is from Wall, New Jersey. She began dancing at 4 years old. She first started off dancing at The Dancers Workshop. At the local studio Jessica went to she danced in recitals, Christmas shows, festivals, and Competitions. During the summers she attended numerous elite intensives such as, The Rock school of ballet, and American Academy of Ballet. After High school she decided to take her career to New York City to pursue her dreams . She was accepted into Broadway Dance Center professional semester program. Where she furthered her knowledge of the dance world and honed her skills to a new level. After the program she moved into the dance world where she participated in multiple auditions and was cast in music videos, A show called M.O.V.E., and assisted at workshops at BDC. In her spare time she got her Cosmetology License and now enjoys doing hair and make-up on the side. Her truly loves and is very passionate about dancing and hopes to some day go even further with her career. She loves teaching kids and helping to mold them into wonderful, young, talented dancers for generations to come.


Kerime Konur

KerimejkonurKerime Jessica Konur, originally from Leesburg, Virginia, is the youngest of six children. She began dance at a young age, heavily influenced by her two older sisters who had began lessons at The Loudoun School of Ballet. After graduating from high school, Kerime set out to New York at the age of 18 to pursue her dreams of being a professional dancer. She started her first year in the BIG CITY at The Ailey School in the Independent Study Program to then receive her certificate in dance from the Peridance Capezio Dance Center in New York City. She began training in the Commercial track, to then graduate in the Ballet Contemporary Track receiving training in all styles, under the direction of Igal Perry and Marlena Wolfe, who awarded her with the Wolfe Project Scholarship. She has performed works of Robert Battle, Sidra Bell, Bryan Arias, Manuel Vignoulle, Enzo Celli, Michelle Oliva and Francesca Dario. Kerime has also performed for GMA: Live, the Dr.Oz Show, Revlon, Nike, MTV, and as a guest artist for XAOC Contemporary Ballet and IKADA Contemporary Ballet Company. She has toured with AATMA Performing Arts and Mystic India: The World Tour under direction of Amit Shah, Michael Jackson: Tribute Tour with Spirit Productions, and is currently an intern and assistant for Sidra Bell of Sidra Bell Dance New York. She has assistant choreographed for MTV Internationals new hit show ‘Say It In A Song,’ and produced as well as choreographed for The Deva Cabaret in Istanbul, Turkey.


Kimberly Kohlman

Kimberly Morris

Kimberly Morris began dancing at the age of 4 and later went on to study classical ballet with Leonid Kozlov and Valentina Kozlova, both principals from the Bolshoi Ballet Theater and New York City Ballet. She continued her training with the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC where she worked with renowned teachers David Howard, Rebecca Wright and Eleanor D’Antuono.

Kimberly began her performing career with Kozlov Dance International performing principal roles in Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Firebird, Chopiniana, Paquita, as well as original works choreographed for her by Mr. Kozlov. While with KDI, she was invited to dance in Balanchine’s Symphony in C, in St. Petersburg, Russia with Valentina Kozlova. Kimberly was also a member of the Joffrey Ballet Ensemble Company in the early 2000’s. While there, she performed in The Sleeping Beauty and original choreography by Karla Wolfangle in Tribeca Theater in NYC. During her time in NYC, she was chosen to dance in the original cast of choreographer Dave Guggino’s original ballet “Sid ‘N the City.” In 2008, Kimberly danced the lead role in Verissimo Opera’s Un Ballo en Marchesi and in 2011, Kimberly lived in Tours, France where she taught dance for ESL and performed for Compagnie L’Xpress as a guest artist. Since 2013, Kimberly has also been a guest artist with Art of Motion Dance Theater Company in Ridgewood, NJ, performing for Bergen Dance Makers and Centenary College.

Currently, Kimberly is a company member with Connecticut Ballet where her repertory includes, The Nutcracker, Giselle, and Cinderella. She has also recently had the pleasure of posing for photographer, Jordan Matter, creator of Dancers Among Us.

Kimberly has been teaching classical ballet, creative movement and jazz throughout Bergen and Passaic counties since 2008. She began teaching while pursuing her NJ state teaching certificate in the arts at William Paterson University.

Shay Williams

Genres: Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Creative Movement


Shay was born and raised in Boston, MA where she began her hip-hop dance training at the age of 9 with Urban Connections Dance Company. At the age of 14 she became a member of Lady Quo (the female counterpart to the America’s Best Dance Crew finalist from “Season 1” Status Quo) where she really began to hone in on her passion for dance and her love of choreography.

In 2010 she moved to New Jersey where she attended Montclair State University to study Sociology and Dance; and went on to graduate with honors and 2 degrees, one of them being her B.F.A. in Dance. While attending MSU she really focused on her ballet, modern, and technical training and had the opportunity of working with master teachers like Jay T. Jenkins, Elizabeth McPhearson, Karen Gale, and Joao Carvalho.

Shay has apprenticed with the dance company “The Dance Cartel” and is currently a member of Brukwine Gyals and The Bachanalists; both reggae and soca dance based companies. She has toured and been a backup dancer for the up and coming artist J-Line, and has been apart of many music videos and flash mobs. While in college Shay also became founder/director/choreographer of the all girls dance crew X-Quisite.

As a teacher one must always remain current, and Shay prides herself on growing as a teacher by consistently auditioning, taking class, training, and performing. She is trained in hip-hop, ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, reggae/soca, jazz funk, and commercial dance/heels. The dance world is constantly changing and the more she grows and expands, the more she can pass on to her students.


Dana Prieto

Genres: Tots & Creative Movement, Twirling Two’s, Ballet


Dana has been dancing since the young age of 5 years old and has pursued that passion into her professional life. She has studied jazz, tap, and pointe; but is primarily concentrated on ballet and modern dance. She has been teaching dance classes for students of all ages in the past 13 years.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University and received a Master in higher education from Boston College. She was worked professionally for various modern dance companies in the NJ/NYC area and has performed pieces from Trisha Brown, Bill T. Jones, Julia Ritter, Randy James, and John Evans. Dana is currently an academic advisor at Parsons The New School for Design and works with college students in the visual and artistic design field. She is also currently working on earning a certificate in Dance Therapy at the New School.


Aubrey Cheek

Aubrey Cheek grew up in Florida and moved to New York City to begin her professional dance career. Aubrey has trained in all styles of dance and continues to further her education at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She is a member of Chloe Arnold’s Apartment 33 tap company. She has performed at the DC Tap Festival, Rhythm in Motion (NYC), Tap City (NYC), and the New York Botanical Gardens. Aubrey is the assistant to Chloe and Maud Productions/ Syncopated Ladies (of the viral Formation and Prince tribute videos) as well as The Sillar Company. She has trained with many prominent tap dancers, such as Chloe and Maud Arnold, Derick Grant, Sarah Reich, Michelle Dorrance, Jared Grimes, and Charles Renato. She will be graduating in December with a degree in Arts and Entertainment Management from Pace University. Aubrey loves sharing her passion for tap dance with her students!
